Jiffy Packaging Company Ltd – update on Plastic Tax and recycled content

On January 13th, 2023 Abriso Jiffy and the shareholders of Sapronit closed the transaction to acquire the business of Sapronit.

From April 1st, 2022, the UK Government will introduce new legislation regarding Plastic Packaging and the use of recycled materials. Any plastic-based packaging products supplied which do not contain 30% recycled plastic content will be subject to a tax collected by HMRC. We are pleased to confirm that here at Jiffy Packaging Company Ltd we are well advanced in our preparation for this.
