About XPS building boards
The strength-to-weight ratio of our XPS, STYRISOL®, is impressive and the cell structure is designed to withstand compression even under the most demanding conditions.
This makes XPS the perfect choice for insulation applications where durability is a requirement.
Abriso Jiffy’s XPS boards are available in different sizes and different surface textures and edge finishes.
These boards are used to insulate roofs, cellars, walls and even swimming pools.

Safety measures:
-
STYRISOL® insulation boards of yellow extruded polystyrene can be stored for a long time in their original packaging.
When the boards are exposed to the sunlight for a long time slight discolouration may be possible, but will not effect the quality of the product. -
STYRISOL® insulation boards contain flame retardant additives. Extruded polystyrene is combustible and may not be exposed to any kind of heat.
Dense smoke is produced when the product burns. Combustion products may include carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and soot. -
Extruded polystyrene can be used in combination with most building materials (lime, cement, plaster, anhydrous plaster, alcohols, acids and bases).
Petroleum-based solvents, coal tar and derived products may affect the material. Thinners and solvents such as acetone, ethyl acetate, petrol, toluene may damage the boards.
Always check if the product is suitable for applications with extruded polystyrene. -
We recommend glueing products without petroleum-based solvents.
Always check if the product is suitable for applications with extruded polystyrene.
